畢業學分說明/Graduation Credits Instructions

各位的畢業總學分數為１２８學分。其中包含２６學分的「基礎能力課程」、「通識教育課程」、「體育課程」和「國防科技課程」，４２學分的系必修課程，至少１６學分的系選修課程，以及４４學分的自由選修課程。

Your total graduation credit count is 128 credits. This includes 26 credits of “Basic Competence courses”, “General Education courses”, “Physical Education courses” and ” Defense Technology course”, 42 credits of departmental required courses, 16 credits of minimum departmental electives, and 44 credits of discretionary electives.

全英班學生「不能」選Ａ、Ｂ班的必修課；只能選Ａ、Ｂ班全英授課的選修課至多６學分。

Students of English-Taught program cannot take required courses from A,B classes; but can only take elective courses taught in English from A,B classes, up to a maximum of 6 credits.

重要！每個學期的必修課程都必須要過５０分，下個學期的必修課才能繼續修。舉例說明：英語會話課，一年級上學期如果學期成績只有４０分，就不能既須修一年級下茄的英語會話課。必須要等到二年級上學期重修英語會話課，二年級下學期才能修英語會話課。這樣的影響很大，請各位務必認真上課，至少要讓學期成績過５０分。以下是課程的順序：

Important! You must score at least 50 points in each required course each semester to continue taking the required courses the following semester. For example, if you only scored 40 points in ENGLISH COMPOSITION during the 1st semester of your 1st grade, then you cannot take the ENGLISH COMPOSITIONcourse in the 2nd semester of your 1st grade. You must retake it in the 1st semester of your 2nd year before you can take it in the 2nd semester of your 2nd year. This will have a significant impact, so please take your classes diligently and strive to get at least 50 points in the semester. The following is the order of the courses：

四年級的必修課程無此限制。There is no such restriction for the required courses in the 4th grade．

每一門課的及格分數是６０分。凡是未達６０分的課程，都無法取得學分。第一學期被當掉的課程只能在下學年的第一學期重修。如果重修時，原課程名稱已被改了，請一定要注意替代課程。

The passing score for each course is 60. No credit will be awarded for courses with a score below 60. Courses failed in the 1st semester can only be retaken in the 1st semester of the next academic year. If the course title has been changed when you retake it, please be sure to check the replacement course.

八、通識與核心課程中心開設４門各１學分的探索領域系列課程，限大一學生修讀，引導學生進行跨領域學習為目標，以遠距非同步方式授課，尋找路徑：課程查詢系統 ==> 二、課程類別選「共同科目」==> ，項目為「校共通課程（日、進）」==> 按右上角的進入查詢。開課序號為２８１７～２８２０。如有相關問題，請洽詢分機２１２６，張偉琳小姐。

The Center for General Education and Core Curriculum offers 4 one-credit Exploratory Field courses, limited to freshmen. These courses aim to guide students in cross-disciplinary learning. Theses courses can be found in  Tamkang University Course Catalogs==> II.Category==> Common Subjects==> Common Elective Courses==> Search. The course numbers are from 2817 to 2820. For any questions, please contact Mrs. CHANG at ext. 2126.

九、開學第一週就是加退選週，請注意教務處的加退選公告：114學年度第1學期各年級加退選課程開放時間表。如果有想要修得課，無論是否選到課，第一週要先去上課。如果加退選沒選上，第二週起便可不去上課。

Please pay attention to the announcement of the Office of Acedemic Affairs about the course add/drop period: Fall 2025 Adjustment Period Schedule and Information. If you want to take some courses,  it’s better to attend to the class in the 1st week regardless of whether you have selected it or not.

十、英語檢定門檻。由於三年級必須要去國外學校一年（境外生除外），大多數學校都會要求英語能力。建議在二年級申請出國之前，就考過本系的英檢標準，甚至是國外學校要求的英語能力標準。考過標準的學生，請先上學校的「外語能力檢定登錄暨審核系統」填寫及上傳成績單檔案，再填寫本系的「英文系英語檢定成績單上傳表單/Form for uploading English Proficiency transcript」，以便系助理初步審核。

English proficiency threshold. Since 3rd-year students must study abroad for a year (except for international students), most schools require English proficiency. It is recommended that you pass the department’s English proficiency standard, or even the English proficiency standard required by foreign schools, before applying to study abroad in your 2nd year. Students who pass the standard should first complete and upload their transcript file via the school’s “System of Registry and Review of Foreign Language Proficiency.” Then, complete the department’s “Form for Uploading English Proficiency Transcript” for preliminary review by the departmental assistant.

十一、學生證統一由教務處製作，依據各位在學校系統上提供個人資料的先後製作。屆時，教務處會將學生證送來系辦公室。助理將會通知大家來系辦簽領。

Student ID cards are issued by the Office of Academic Affairs, based on the order in which each student submits their personal information on the system. The Office of Academic Affairs will then deliver the student ID cards to the department office. The assistant will then notify everyone to come to sign and collect their ID cards.

十二、本校台北市淡江大學校友會受理申請淡江愛膳餐券，請自行參閱「台北市淡江大學校友會114學年度第1學期淡江愛膳餐券計畫」並自行申請。

十三、本國籍男性新生，請在０９２６星期五之前，按後方連結填報學務處的役男資料並上傳相關文件電子檔，以便辦理緩徵。如因未在期限內填報而發生徵（召）集，請自行負責：http://spirit.tku.edu.tw/x100 

　（一）尚未服役者：勾選「未役」，上傳身分證正、反面電子檔。

　（二）已服役者（含補充兵、替代役）：填寫「軍種」、「階級」，上傳身分證正、反面、結訓令或退伍令電子檔。

　（四）現役軍人：軍人身分證電子檔。

如果遇到心情陷入低谷的狀態，想找個人聊聊，可以來系辦公室找系助理，或是找去商管大樓的Ｂ４０８學生事務處的諮商職崖暨學習發展輔導中心找心理師聊聊。

If you are feeling down and want to talk to someone, you may come to the office to talk to the assistant, or go to the Counseling Center of the office of Student Affairs in Room B408 of the B Building to talk to a Counseling Psychologist.
